About Sunit (Puglia) Ltd. We are a group of UK and Italian professionals including an architect, a lawyer and other investors who discovered and fell in love with Puglia a few years ago. We began by purchasing and refurbishing properties for our own use. Other friends and acquaintances became interested and thus we acquired further beautiful rural properties and sites all chosen for their location, views, beauty and tranquillity. We have since completed a number of new and refurbished trulli properties. Other projects are in the planning stages including further individual rural sites and a ridge of a cliff with stunning sea and hilltop views where planning permission for 28 masseria style houses is expected to be granted later in 2006. |
All projects are devised, developed and overseen by Max Silvano with the help of a local architect, Domenico Sasso and his team (Ostuni, Italy). SUNIT (PUGLIA) LIMITED Sunit (Puglia ) Limited is a Jersey based Company with a local branch registered at the Brindisi Chamber of Commerce in Italy. Max and Beatrix are its legal representatives. |

MAX SILVANO
Max is an architect with thirty-five years of experience in architectural design and building. Max was also involved in research for materials and their application and development and lectured extensively at various universities. Max spent part of his career in the middle east developing large private and public projects such as hospitals, infrastructures, harbours and whole town developments. Since 1981 Max has been concentrating on the UK residential market in London and the South/South-East in particular developing historically sensitive and protected sites for residential use. Max has a deep understanding of historic structures and the need to preserve the atmosphere, character and beauty of old structures and sites. Max is bilingual in English and Italian. |
BEATRIX SILVANO
Beatrix worked for fifteen years in banking in Germany and Switzerland and as a corporate lawyer in the City. Beatrix and Max fell in love with Puglia and trullis when visiting in 2004. They decided to renovate a trulli for themselves. This project then snowballed into buying many more beautiful sites and Sunit (Puglia) Limited was formed. Beatrix is involved with the design and look and feel of the trullis and looks after all the legal and administrative side of the refurbishments and Sunit (Puglia) Limited with the assistance of a local notary and a local firm of accountants. Beatrix is bilingual in English and German and speaks Italian and French fluently. |
